A raucous crowd surrounded a Waymo car and set it on fire in San Francisco’s Chinatown on Saturday night, police said.
San Francisco police said a crowd of about 10 to 15 people surrounded a fully autonomous vehicle between Stockton and Grant just before 9:30 p.m.
Fully self-driving cars have been completely destroyed.
The rioters painted graffiti on vehicles, smashed windows and threw fireworks inside. The fireworks ignited and the vehicle went up in flames.
