Nashville event to host pro-life advocate on fatherlessness in America, ‘the most ignored crisis by the Left’

Ryan Bomberger, co-founder and chief creative officer of the Radiance Foundation in Loudoun County, Virginia, has been vocal about his pro-life beliefs for years.

This year, he will speak at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, from February 20th to February 23rd.

Prior to the event, he told FOX News Digital on Monday morning, “The climate change that should be of primary concern to all of us today is household climate change. Sadly, the United States has the largest number of single-parent households in the world. The majority (80%) are single-person households led by women.”

He added that the absence of fathers in the home is “an epidemic, and the impact on families, communities and society is devastating.”

Bomberger called this “the crisis most ignored by the left, which falsely claims that mothers and fathers are either interchangeable or disposable.”

“Nothing can replace a father. Not a woman. Not a live-in boyfriend. (We ask that the father not be involved) It’s not a government-mandated program.” with Fox News Digital.

“Popular culture today likes to think that families can be defined however you want, but there are clear differences in how children end up,” he added ahead of his appearance in Nashville.

“Masculinity should be celebrated, not despised.”

“Neither nature nor God intended for women to play the role of both mother and father. We do not look down on single parents, especially those who are doing everything in their power to provide for their children. But , we must emphasize the ideal, the ideal model that will provide the greatest benefit to our children and our society,” Bomberger said.

According to recent data from the U.S. Census (2022 data), approximately 18.3 million children in the United States live without a father at home, which equates to approximately 1 in 4 children.

According to the same census, children who grow up in homes without a father or father figure are more likely to “face abuse and neglect, drop out of school, abuse drugs and alcohol, suffer from obesity, and even go to prison.” “Yes,” Bomberger said.

The Radiance Foundation emphasizes the importance of fathers as members of “happy and healthy families” and believes that “masculinity should be celebrated, not devalued.”

Bomberger himself was adopted as a child, and in previous comments to Fox News Digital, he praised his parents for bringing him home all those years ago and accepting him as their own. “My mother and father are the most wonderful people I know,” he said.

He said, “My birth mother experienced the horror and violence of rape,” and that he, as Bombager, was also a product of that rape.

He said he is grateful for the chance at life and for being adopted into a loving and caring family that includes 12 siblings. Nine of the children had been adopted from situations of neglect, abuse, or poverty.

“None of us would have been better off dead,” he said. “We deserve to be loved.”

“That little girl changed her life fundamentally and beautifully,” Ryan Bomberger said. “Her name is Radiance. We call her Lai Lai. We named her foundation after her.”

There are now three other siblings in the Bomberger family, two of whom have been adopted.

According to Fox News Digital, Bomberger will be in Nashville speaking about faith, fatherhood and masculinity.

“Identity politics may not help us think better about human dignity, but it can help us love each other.”

He is strongly opposed to abortion.

“When a child is conceived, the man becomes the father,” Bomberger said. “The abortion industry has created a culture of abandonment that denies this biological and social reality.”

According to CDC data, 87% of women who receive abortions are unmarried.

“The blame has become someone else’s business, and the solution to an ‘unplanned’ pregnancy that is a natural consequence of sexual activity is death,” Bomberger said.

“In most cases, innocent children are left vulnerable by the absence of their fathers.”

Bomberger added: “We value love above all else. Identity politics doesn’t help us think better about human dignity. But loving each other does.”

He also said that pro-abortion groups and mainstream media really “don’t know what to do with me.”

“I’m brown, I’m adopted, I’m passionately pro-life, and I’m an adoptive father.”
