Dr. King later reiterated his assertions, saying, “I think white people are psychotic. I think there’s a lot of lying. The level of white lying goes back to colonial times. We’ve just gotten used to it. ” he added.

His other comments included claiming that “anti-Blackness” is “the basis of every American, every white American institution.” To get his point across, he said rape of black women is “written into the law.”

“The delusions and perversions of Whiteness are indisputable. Say this to me: Rape culture in America is a legal, economic, and moral institution. So we…make it into law. “Rape a black woman – but our country has never been a racist country. This is more than gaslighting, it’s rooted in psychological delusion. “There is,” Dr. King said.

Fox News Digital has reached out to King’s team for comment. In their response, they provided presentation notes citing three state Supreme Court decisions from 1855, 1859, and 1918 that claim Dr. King condones the rape of black women. The memo also cited several state laws from 1802 to 1858 that were “particularly focused on protecting white women.”

His memo does not mention state laws that specifically authorize the rape of black women, but writes that “black women and non-white women are exempt from these rape laws and statutes.”
