To be honest, this is highly likely. It feels like such a petty thing that it’s hard to believe that Dana was so furious about the podcast that she actually banished Howie Mandel from everyone. I’m not saying Howie is a huge star, but he’s bigger than your average podcaster.
What makes me think this is planned is the Oscar-worthy camerawork throughout all of this. First, there’s the “cat in the cowboy hat” background, which is surreal enough on its own, but the way the camera cuts back to Dana’s empty chair is something else entirely.
