Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin (R) gave a surprise performance of Garth Brooks’ hit song “Friends in Low Places” on Fox. we are family.
Palin joined her cousin on stage Wednesday for episode seven of the show’s first season.

New from FOX we are family According to the show, the series will feature “unfamous relatives of celebrities singing duets with hidden famous family members,” and “100 participants will have to guess which celebrities the performers are related to.” It has the characteristic of “you have to hit it well before it’s exposed.” IMDb page.
When the former Alaska governor was revealed, those who answered correctly won $10,000.
“Sarah, how is your relationship with JD?” we are family host Anthony Anderson asked, to which Palin replied, “He’s my favorite.”
Anderson asked JD, “What was it like when you found out your cousin was putting your name in the hat to run for vice president?”
“It was a surprising event for our entire family,” JD said. “It was a tough ride for her, but she had fun. We were so proud of her.”
