Something is happening at Tiger Woods’ Genesis Invitational. The playing host withdrew from the tournament after six holes on Friday.
He and his team cited illness as the reason. He left the tournament. However, Woods said he felt back spasms toward the end of Thursday’s round.
Woods was 1 over after six holes on Friday, hoping to advance and play this weekend at Riviera. Once tipped off, more news emerged as Woods was carted off the track. Emergency vehicles arrived at the clubhouse within minutes of being tipped off.
Fans around the world were excited to see Woods play on the PGA Tour for the first time this season.
Therefore, many people reacted to this news on social media. While some fans were not kind to Tiger, many others chose not to be rude to his exit.
It’s unfortunate that it’s an illness rather than an injury, but it’s very good news, he’ll be back.

Others felt it was time for him to retire from professional golf.
Sorry, but it’s time to hang up, Grandpa.

Twitter user Jake Ferraro took a slightly humorous approach. He feels many Tiger fans will give up golf because the Big Cat is out of the tournament.
Samantha Marks also chose to keep it light because there’s so much uncertainty going on with him. She told some hot jokes for girls about tummy problems.
Sexy girl has tummy problems. It’s okay, Tiger. I support you.
