Radio host Charlamagne the God said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that President Joe Biden is an “unappealing candidate” who has “no heroic energy.”
Anchor John Karl said: How involved are your viewers in this race and how much are they paying attention to it?”
Charlamagne said, “I feel like my audience is America. When I go out and walk down the street or when people call into radio stations, I feel like people are inspired by the upcoming election. No one wants to see a rematch between Biden and Trump, and that’s why I feel like Couch is going to win.”
He added: “He’s just a lackluster candidate. There’s nothing about Joe Biden that makes you want to listen to him. That’s why he’s a much more charismatic deputy than he is.” He should look to President Kamala Harris. He should look to other surrogates like Gavin Newsom and Pennsylvania’s Shapiro. He should look to people who are more inspirational and more charismatic than himself. He probably wants to be called the brains of the behind-the-scenes operations. It sounds crazy. We say that about the president of the United States, but he has the energy of the main character. Not at all. None.”
