Charlamagne Tha God uses ABC’s airwaves to dish out the truth on Biden and Democrats: ‘Nobody believes them’

Radio host Charlamagne Tha God is giving Democrats a much-needed reality check.

In an interview with ABC News anchor Jonathan Karl on ABC News’ “This Week,” Charlamagne the God (real name Leonard McKelvey) explained why he believes in President Joe Biden. following Donald Trump.

”[Biden]”There’s nothing about Joe Biden that makes me want to listen to him.

“He just doesn’t have the energy of the main character. Absolutely none,” McKelvey declared.

Mr. McKelvey’s point of view is that his radio show, The Breakfast Club, reaches millions of listeners each month, especially young people, so Mr. McKelvey has his finger on the pulse of young voters. , is particularly enlightening. And unfortunately for Biden, McKelvey doesn’t think Biden’s problems are rooted in his age — especially since Trump is only a few years younger than Biden.

“I think it has nothing to do with him at all. Like Donald Trump is four or three years younger than President Biden, so what?” McKelvey said. “but [Trump] You will look much more youthful. He looks like he has more energy.

“And I always say this about him: Donald Trump seems more honest about his lies than Joe Biden is about his truths,” he added.

Throughout Biden’s presidency, McKelvey did not hold back from criticizing him. vice president kamala harris, or the Democratic Party. The criticism has sparked a backlash from the White House, which McKelvey believes is emblematic of a problem the Biden team doesn’t want to acknowledge.

“I think that’s the stupidest piece of shit in history. … I think you should be able to criticize whoever your elected official is, right?” he said. “The reason I’m criticizing them is because I’m thinking about what’s going to happen in November. We know what we’re facing.

“What I would say to them is, where is the sense of crisis?” he continued. “You can’t keep saying there’s a threat to democracy and that democracy as we know it will disappear and not act accordingly.”

McKelvey noted that one of the ways Democrats have tried to convey a sense of urgency is to demonize Republicans, which he said has only backfired.

“They’ve always done the same thing with every Republican candidate. They’ve demonized every Republican presidential candidate since I’ve been alive, no matter who it is. “It doesn’t matter if it’s John,” McCain said, “It doesn’t matter if it’s Mitt Romney, it doesn’t matter who it is, they’re going to demonize the Republican candidate.”

“And now, when there’s actually a legitimate threat in front of us, they’re like the party crying wolf. Nobody believes them,” he observed.
