The Rabbit, just by existing, that is, himself, influences others.
Alex is a 30-pound rabbit rescued from a slaughterhouse in 2020 by Josh Rowe and Kay Kato, SWNS reports.
The pair rescued the Flemish hare from a meat market in Modesto, California, and it is now “working” as a therapy animal.
The 3-year-old rabbit has attended more than 200 events showing off her good looks and large stature.
Cato, the restaurant’s owner, told SWNS that he and Rowe take Alex everywhere in their hometown of San Francisco.
“When we got Alex, we knew you guys would love him as much as we do, so we thought, let’s take him,” he said.
Kato said the two have been taking Alex to local hospitals and airports to ease the anxiety of patients and planes.
Kato added that he and Rowe do a lot of volunteer work in the area and are always looking for fun and new ways to showcase the rabbits at events.
“Lowe had attached an LED light to Alex’s stroller with his name on it,” Kay told SWNS.
My rabbit liked the stroller so much that I decided to “upgrade” his ride by giving him a small electric car.
“So we gave him a Mercedes SLK and he learned how to use it pretty quickly,” he said.
Bunny’s owners said they didn’t expect Alex to become so popular, but are excited to show him off because they know he brings smiles to people’s faces. Ta.
“We love to show him off because he makes people feel good. And he loves the attention,” he said.
The bunny has more than 26,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 34,000 followers on TikTok, with some videos receiving more than 1 million views.
