A Kentucky college student was found unresponsive in his dorm room and pronounced dead Saturday.
The student, whose name has not yet been released, was found unresponsive “early Saturday morning,” according to a statement from Campbellsville University, a private Christian college about 135 miles southeast of Louisville. The student was then taken to Taylor Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of death has not yet been determined.

Local police are currently searching for a person who is considered a person of interest, the statement said. Campbellsville Police had not identified any specific threats to the student community as of Saturday morning.
