This discriminatory policy follows a trend among major companies to prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) over equality. Disney recently received a civil rights complaint from the federal government for using diversity metrics to determine employee bonuses. The suit alleges that Disney intentionally discriminates against white American men, Christians, and Jews solely on the basis of race, gender, and religion.
