“Be careful when obtaining information from disgruntled former employees,” he said in a post on X, without naming Hardman.
“It’s hard to deal with being beaten by a rookie free agent who was guaranteed millions of dollars,” he said, referring to Xavier Gipson. “Rights take away opportunities. You have to earn them every year.”

In a since-deleted post, Mr. Hardman responded to Mr. Morstead, suggesting he “doesn’t know the whole story.”
Hardman also responded to the tampering allegations, saying, “I never spoke to KC before the trade.”
