America First Legal sues FEC to force action on Hunter Biden laptop deniers during 2020 campaign

A conservative watchdog group is trying to force action after the Federal Election Commission refused to act on statements by 51 former intelligence officials denying they used laptops during Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign.

If the FEC fails to act, Epstein continued, “we are effectively encouraging the public to disinformation that could potentially influence elections.”

An FEC spokesperson told FOX News Digital that the agency does not comment on litigation. Neither the Biden 2024 presidential campaign nor the DNC responded to inquiries regarding this matter.

The FEC must respond to the lawsuit within 60 days. Epstein expects the agency will file a motion to refer the matter back to the FEC for investigation.
