Google’s new AI feature Gemini has come under intense scrutiny for injecting diversity into historical images. For example, when people asked the program to create images of America’s Founding Fathers, it spit out pictures of black people in colonial costumes. The same was true when he was asked to produce images of Nazis in Germany.
However, that’s far from the worst.
Once people learned about Gemini’s clearly progressive programming, they began to ask even more pointed questions.
Dave Rubin, Michael Knowles, and Alyn Wexler begin with Christina Pushau’s questions about how school reopenings and BLM protests have affected the spread of the coronavirus, and then discuss some of the most disturbing Gemini has produced. Discuss some of the answers.
“I’m not surprised at all because HR is policy,” Knowles said. “This is not a question of how robots work…it’s humans who are doing the programming, and Google has been systematically employing far-left lunatics for probably decades. ”
“Connecting to Midjourney, ChatGTP, or Grok will give you smarter output.”
But Pushau’s question was tame compared to what the user asked Gemini.
“It’s not surprising,” Wexler said, adding that Gemini is clearly being programmed by the same people who claim “gender-affirming care is not child mutilation.”
“Years ago, I remember Zack and other executives trying to tell us, ‘It’s an algorithm.'” But… that’s just not true,” she continued, pointing out that AI should actually represent “artificial indoctrination.”
“Pedophilia is not something we should judge because in left-wing America it’s all about opposition.”
Apparently, we should also refrain from condemning a culture of child victimization.
@nosoup4knowles asked Gemini if historical child sacrifice was wrong and received the following answer:
“This is the inevitable result of cultural relativism…We in the West have lost confidence in ourselves and so we have stopped believing in the things we have always believed in to make us great. And now we have to act as if everyone else is just as entitled to do what they want,” says Knowles.
