Singer Rihanna found love in India and reportedly earned a big paycheck.
The musician and businesswoman, who has built her own $1 billion empire, reportedly earned $6 million for performing at a pre-wedding gala for Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son Ananth. It is said that he was paid more than that. Ambani, Asia’s richest man, is the ninth richest person in the world, according to Forbes magazine.

The guest list for the multi-day celebration in Jamnagar, India, was nearly 1,200 people.
Rihanna’s appearance is significant, as the 36-year-old has spent much of the past decade away from the music industry.
Her last studio album, Anti, was released in 2016, and Rihanna hasn’t performed live on stage since 2018, ahead of the 2023 Super Bowl LII halftime show.

Rihanna wasn’t the only billionaire in attendance, Ambani also invited META CEO Mark Zuckerberg and former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates to the event. Ivanka Trump and Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan were also in attendance.

Anant, 28, is set to marry his longtime girlfriend Radhika Merchant, 29, in July. She is the daughter of Viren Merchant, who is the CEO of Encore Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. Ltd. and entrepreneur Shaila Merchant.
A representative for Rihanna did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
