Former Trump CFO Allen Weisselberg to plead guilty to perjury

Allen Weisselberg, the former chief financial officer of the Trump Organization, is scheduled to plead guilty Monday to perjury for lying in the former president’s civil fraud trial.

Monday’s guilty plea marks the second conviction for the money maker, whom President Trump has trusted for years, after pleading guilty in 2022 to 15 counts of tax evasion while working for the Trump Organization.

He was sentenced to five months in prison at New York’s notorious Rikers Island prison before becoming eligible for supervised release.
