On CNN’s “The Source” broadcast on Monday, CNN senior political commentator and former Obama aide David Axelrod said he thinks President Joe Biden is doing a good job as president and that he is looking forward to 2024. He said he was concerned about democratic issues in elections. “People who don’t care how much they pay for the groceries on their kitchen table” and who “don’t have the privilege of ‘avoiding’ living with concerns about inflation and things like that” – Everyday life concerns,” and “We’re probably not talking about that.”
“I’m deeply concerned about this issue…I think Trump 2.0 will be a Delta version of democracy,” Axelrod said. I think it will be much harder to contain him. That being said, I think the people sitting around the kitchen table talking about this are the ones who don’t care how much they paid for the groceries on the kitchen table. If you’re talking about inflation and the worries of everyday life, you probably aren’t talking about it if you don’t have the privilege of not doing so. So I think he should continue to talk about this issue. I think that’s an important issue, but he also has to talk about other things. ”
