Casey Anthony wants to be a reality star, but many feel a reality check is more appropriate.
The TV show proposal, submitted on behalf of the 37-year-old Florida “monster mom,” promises “an intimate window into the daily life of one of America’s most controversial women.”
The show, which will be filmed in Florida, will depict Anthony’s daily life 13 years after he was acquitted of murdering his daughter Caylee.
“In each episode, Casey will go through her daily life, working, socializing, dating, etc. She will share her thoughts and opinions and take a closer look at her world,” The Proposal claims.
Anthony will produce the show in cooperation with the production company, and will be credited not only as the lead actor but also as an executive producer.
Other characters included include “members of Casey’s trusted inner circle, many of whom have never before spoken out.”
The show is aired on multiple television networks, but it is unclear whether any of them actually include it in their schedules.
“I think it’s a losing bet,” one network executive who saw the proposal told the Post. “It’ll get a big audience at first, but what’s really interesting about her life? Plus, the backlash will be huge. It’s not worth it.”
