The California Democrat told reporters Tuesday that he supports the Biden administration’s call for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip conditioned on the release of Israeli hostages.

“My position is the same as the administration’s: We need an agreement to release the hostages and suspend the fighting,” Schiff said.
