After weeks of Justin Fields rumors, Kirk Cousins has dethroned Bears quarterback favorite to be Atlanta’s 2024 signal-caller.
Cousins, who will be a free agent this month, sits as a -225 favorite on DraftKings and will be the Falcons’ starting quarterback starting in Week 1.
This change in odds comes on the heels of a report from Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio that said Cousins is “seriously considering moving his family to Atlanta,” where his in-laws live.
A few weeks ago, Vegas bookmakers were expecting a reunion between Cousins and the Vikings, even though the veteran quarterback was unsigned.
Minnesota was -200 in late February to keep their veteran QB.
After the recent Falcons rumors, Cousins is now +150.
Despite the Atlanta rumors, Vikings leaders have made it clear that they welcome the 35-year-old back as their quarterback going forward.
The change in Cousins’ odds comes after Fields, who had a -130 chance of going to Atlanta after unfollowing the Bears on social media last month and following Falcons playmakers Drake Rondon, Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson. It reflects.
