The man was identified as Steve Nikoy, the father of the slain Lance Corporal. Kareem Nikoi was killed during the failed Afghanistan withdrawal under the Biden administration.
Mr. Biden, 81, was in the middle of saying, “America is safer now than it was when I took office,” but he was interrupted from speaking from the balcony of the chamber.
“Monastery gates!” Steve Nikoi yelled at the president. “First Marines, Second Battalion!”
Capitol Police then removed Nikoui from the chamber and took him into custody around 10:15 p.m.

Rep. Brian Mast, R-Florida, invited Nokowi to be a guest at the State of the Union.
“Joe Biden has refused in his last three SOTU speeches to say the names of the 13 US service members killed in the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal,” Mast wrote to X after his father protested. “We cannot support this initiative any more. Please say their names!
Mast also made the comments after Gold Star’s father was taken from the Capitol.

“There’s going to be a lot of heckling tonight,” he added.
Additionally, Walz invited Gold Star mother Paula Knauss, who lost her son, Staff Sgt. Ryan C. Knauss after the Afghanistan airport explosion.
“He still hasn’t said the names of those 13, privately, publicly or in any speech. It’s infuriating,” Walz said.
