Nick Viall spent a lot of money on his fiancée Natalie Joy ahead of the birth of their first child, but the “frugal” Joy was quick to return the expensive items.
“Nick bought me an $8,000 Louis Vuitton bag as a push gift, and I was like, ‘This makes me sick.'” Joy, 25, Speaking on the podcast “Viall Files” Thursday.
“I was like, ‘I have to give this back, I’m going to throw up.'”
Ms Viall, 43, joked that she bought the wallet to “test” her fiancée, perhaps to see how she handles their shared finances, but added: “I was just kidding.” added.
“I was being frugal,” Joy admitted, telling guests Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt that she had no problem asking for a return and a cosmetics case instead.

“But it was an experience to get it back,” Viall agreed, adding that his fiancée said people who worked at Louis Vuitton stores were said to have been “angry” about the returns. added.

Viall said she first bought the handbag in New York because she had just finished a “small paying job” and was feeling “generous.”
“She’s nine months pregnant with my child,” the “Bachelor” alum said of Joy. “I bought this bag because it was the least I could do. And with Natalie being the very thrifty queen that she is, we got it back.”

He then ended up buying a Louis Vuitton makeup bag that was “very expensive,” but much cheaper than the original wallet, he said.

Viall and Joy welcomed daughter River Rose in February, writing in a joint statement on Instagram at the time: “…the best part of life begins now 🦢🕊️☁️💗.”
Viall, who has appeared on several Bachelor Nation shows including “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise,” proposed to Joy in January 2023 after about three years of dating.
The reality star was engaged to Vanessa Grimaldi, winner of her season of The Bachelor, in March 2017, but called it off five months later.
Vial and Joy’s wedding is scheduled to take place later this year.
