Breitbart Economics Editor-in-Chief John Carney Said On Friday, FOX Business Network’s “Kudlow” said the worst lie in President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address was his claim that he had eliminated the trade deficit.
Anchor Larry Kudlow asked, “John, I just want to ask you, what was the worst economic falsehood you heard in a speech full of economic falsehoods last night?”
Mr Carney said: We spent all night last night at Breitbart investigating and fact-checking an almost unlimited number of falsehoods. The worst moment was when he said he would eliminate the trade deficit. ”
Mr. Kudrow replied, “Oh, really?”
“We said, ‘We used to import goods, now we just export them,'” Carney said. That’s not true at all. By the way, if you look at the numbers, the trade deficit is much higher than under any previous president. Last year it went down a bit, but that’s just because the year before and the year before that was the highest ever. Each year of President Biden’s term has been marked by the worst trade deficit on record, yet he still has the nerve to claim he has eliminated the trade deficit. ”
