Author Peter Schweitzer reveals just how insidious China’s influence on America really is.
“China has an empty gas can, and our leaders are basically saying and doing nothing,” Schweitzer tells Sara Gonzalez.
“They didn’t cause these problems, but they exacerbated them and made them worse,” he added.
These problems include violent left-wing groups active on America’s streets and the fentanyl epidemic, which kills thousands of Americans each year.
Schweitzer said Mexican drug cartels may be junior partners overseeing the fentanyl crisis, but the Chinese are senior partners. The Chinese begin this process when they transport “fentanyl components” to Mexican ports.
The port is run by a Chinese company and parts are sent to northern Mexico, where fentanyl is manufactured. The fentanyl is then distributed to 2,000 Chinese nationals in northern Mexico before crossing the border.
“Cartels are helping their customers get killed, but because the profit margins on fentanyl are eight to 10 times higher than on cocaine, they are willing to make those sacrifices. What they really want to do is kill Americans,” Schweitzer explained.
Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for Americans under 45.
“That’s the thing. China is saying, ‘Okay, we want to kill Americans,'” Gonzalez says, perturbed.
