Mara Macy, who is running against Establishment Republican Rep. John Rutherford (Florida), made this comment during an appearance on the show, emphasizing that she “cannot be bought.” . Breitbart News Saturday.

“I think the real problem we have is that people don’t know what they can do and what is possible. You’re right, everyone. It’s obvious. People want change. They want to put the right people in office. But many are wondering how politics works and how they can get the funds to support these people. I don’t understand why it exists. “So I think people really need to understand that if you want this change to happen, you can’t just vote. You need to inspire your neighbors. You need to inspire your friends. They know they can run us down with money. They know they can run slanderous ads, and PACs know they can send out mailers containing outright lies because they can. We have to fight against it, and everyone who feels this change needs to be part of it,” said Macy, who has never wanted to be a politician. She added that she became involved in coronavirus countermeasures as a husband in 2020. She is in the military.
Ms Macy said she needed to “outperform” Mr Rutherford given the establishment’s support.
“It’s really simple. … There are a lot of people who volunteer,” she said, adding that visibility is also needed.
