President Donald Trump is taking another step towards officially securing the Republican presidential nomination.

The Associated Press on Saturday predicted the former president would win the Republican nominating caucuses in American Samoa, a U.S. territory in the Pacific Ocean.

Trump was named the party’s 2024 presidential nominee on Wednesday after his last remaining rival in the primary, former U.N. ambassador and former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley, suspended her campaign. .
