Christian singer Jeremy Camp underwent successful surgery to treat an arrhythmia on Monday and is resting at home, his wife Adrienne said.
Posted by Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning artist social media video Sunday told friends and fans he had heart ablation surgery to treat arrhythmia (atrial fibrillation), but his heart was beating “really, really fast” and was having problems. He asked them to pray. he is breathing
“It was affecting a lot of things. And I went into an affib on stage again tonight, so I had to shorten my set,” he said. “…it’s hard to function.”
According to the Mayo Clinic, cardiac ablation involves inserting a catheter into a blood vessel and guiding it to the heart. Camp said doctors will insert a catheter into his leg.
On Monday, Adrian Camp posted a message on her husband’s social media accounts saying the surgery was a success.

“I wanted to give you an update on Jeremy…he is resting and will have to lie down completely for a while,” she wrote. “He enjoys me spoon-feeding him. Lol! The surgery was a success, but it will take several months for him to fully recover. We appreciate all of you caring for us in your prayers. I am so grateful. I am also so thankful for my wonderful doctors and staff. “My strength and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and will keep my portion forever.” He supports me.” Poetry 73:26”
Camp said there was discussion about opening the surgery to the public.
“A lot of people say to me all the time, ‘What are we praying for you?’ And there are a lot of prayer warriors out there. A lot of people say different things. and prayed for me, and I am very grateful for that. So I would like to let you all know this. … I would appreciate your prayers.”
Friends and fans alike posted comments of appreciation. Pastor Greg Laurie wrote, “Prayers answered!” Danny Gokey said, “I love you.” Singer Jordan Ferris said he was praying. Jonathan Traylor writes: I hope you rest well and recover quickly! ”
Throughout his career, Camp has had 12 No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart, with 39 songs on the chart.
His story was retold in the 2020 Kingdom Story Company film. i still believe. Adrian Camp previously sang with the Dove Award-nominated group Benjamin Gate.
