A woman who was pulled over and removed from her car in Florida was reportedly stopped for using a fake diplomatic tag on her Audi Q5.
“The woman has been identified as 32-year-old Cecelia Mercaldo, a singer who goes by the name Sessi and has over 195,000 followers on Instagram.” NBC6 reported.
As of this writing, Mercaldo’s Instagram and X accounts do not show any posts about her going to the police.
The video shows the officer pulling Mercaldo from the car as another occupant of the car yells at the officer.
“Please bring your boss right away. He’s reaching into our car. I’m in danger,” the person shouts in the video.
“You’re reaching into our car. I feel threatened, I feel threatened, I feel threatened!” in the video A man is shouting at a police officer. ”
“Get away from her now, get away from her right now.”
“They have no jurisdiction over you,” the man says.
“They have no jurisdiction because she is not a U.S. citizen.”
another local outlet Mercaldo released a video of himself leaving the prison after being “restrained.”
In a brief interview, Ms. Mercaldo appeared to contradict her claim in the original video that she is not a U.S. citizen.
“I’m a U.S. citizen. I was born in the Bronx Navy Yard,” she said.
In the video, a “passenger” tells the officer, “You’re fired from your job and she’s going to get $250,000,” according to NBC 6.
“See you in court, see you in court. Hey, if you want to play, let’s meet in court.”

A statement from the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department released to NBC 6 reads: “The video posted online does not fully capture the incident from beginning to end.”
“[S]He repeatedly refused to comply with the officers’ commands…The diplomatic tag on the car turned out to be a fake, and the female driver was arrested for driving with a fake tag. ”
Mercaldo did not respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
