On Saturday around 5:40 p.m., officers witnessed a fight break out at Pike Outlets in Long Beach.
The Long Beach Police Department had already dispatched large numbers of officers outside the mall in preparation for a flash mob by minors that was allegedly organized on social media.

Police said the fight between the adult woman and the female juvenile was pre-planned and advertised on social media.
Video shows a scuffle erupting with a large group of boys surrounding them, and a significant number of onlookers taking out their cellphones to record the fight.
Law enforcement quickly intervened and arrested both participants in the fight.
“Pike’s store has chosen to close early out of an abundance of caution,” Long Beach police said in a statement.
Pike Outlet closed around 6 p.m., and everyone, including shoppers, was asked to leave the area.
Police threatened to arrest anyone who remained on the mall premises after 10 minutes for trespassing.
About an hour after the fight, officers responded to a report of a shooting near a popular shopping center.
A teenage boy was shot in the lower body. He was rushed to a local hospital. His condition is said to be stable.
Police have not said whether the shooting was related to a flash mob or brawl.
Police announced they would increase patrols near the outlet mall to prevent further chaos.
