The Minnesota Court of Appeals has found that banning transgender “women” from participating in sports as women is a violation of Minnesota’s left-wing “human rights” ordinance.

In this week’s Court of Appeals ruling, the justices determined that USAPL did in fact violate the state’s far-left human rights law, but the lower court case does not clarify whether the organization was banned solely based on its ban on Cooper. pointed out that it was not clear. The appeals court remanded the case to a lower court, stating that “substantial questions of fact exist as to whether defendant excluded plaintiff from the women’s division of a weightlifting competition because she is transgender.” Ta.
USAPL introduced a transgender policy in 2019 to provide a “level playing field” for women participating in sports.

The policy states that USA Powerlifting is a “sports organization with rules and policies that apply to all to provide a level playing field.”
The organization described powerlifting as a “sport of strength” rather than a “sport of skill.”
“Men naturally have larger bone structures, higher bone density, stronger connective tissue, and higher muscle density than women,” the statement said. “These characteristics do not disappear, even if testosterone levels decrease.
