Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is carrying out a planned raid on Rafah, the last refuge in Gaza for more than 1 million displaced people, against the wishes of President Joe Biden, but the Jewish state is They believe Hamas terrorists are trapped there.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told legal officials on Tuesday that Biden was “very clear” that “we are determined to complete the annihilation of these battalions in Rafah, and there is no other way to do that than by being on the ground.” He said he told him.

In addition, ceasefire negotiations will resume in Qatar this week after Israel rejected a counter-offer from Hamas last week. An Israeli delegation led by the country’s spy chief visited Qatar on Monday. Israeli officials said it would take at least two weeks to reach an agreement.
