After the shooting at about 9:01 a.m., Gordon allegedly went to a subdivision on Edgewood Lane where he shot and killed another person, Taylor, before fleeing the scene, Clark said.
About 12 minutes later, Gordon allegedly carjacked the victim at gunpoint in the Dollar General parking lot on Bristol Pike in Morrisville. The man then drove to Trenton and barricaded himself inside a home, authorities said.
Police said the carjacking victim was not injured.
Police said the stolen vehicle, a dark gray Honda CRV, was found unoccupied in the 100 block of Miller Street in Trenton around 11:38 a.m.
Trenton Police Chief Steve Wilson said Gordon appeared to have fled the area before the barricades were set up and was later found near the home where the barricades appeared to have been set up.
