‘Beta Males’: Medal Of Honor Recipient Rips State Dept Over Biden’s Withdrawal From Afghanistan

Medal of Honor recipient David Bellavia on Tuesday criticized the U.S. State Department on Fox News over President Joe Biden’s testimony regarding the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Mr. Bellavia appeared on “The Ingraham Angle” to discuss testimony given Tuesday to the House Foreign Affairs Committee by two top military officials who oversaw the infamous withdrawal from Afghanistan. Fox host Laura Ingraham asked Bellavia about her thoughts on her testimony, pointing out that no one took “responsibility” for the failure. Mr. Bellavia denounced the State Department’s announcement as “nonsense” and noted the contrasting details of their stories. The Medal of Honor recipient went on to say that the United States “has not learned its lessons” from past foreign failures, raising questions about how officials are running the “show.”

“I can’t get over the fact that beta men at the State Department are telling generals, four-star generals, Navy SEALs, and Delta Force commanders how to fight. Stop it. You’re asking us to be the next ISIS-K. You say that five days after six drones tracked the man they said was Zarqawi, they learned that the man was a water deliveryman from Kabul’s Poland Springs. There was a secondary explosion. But this is complete nonsense. It makes no sense,” Belavia said.

“And you know what? We’re talking about not repeating the mistakes of Afghanistan. Laura, we’re in Haiti now, how many Americans are there, how many? No one knows how many Americans will leave. We haven’t learned the lessons we learned in Nigeria, Niger, Belarus, or the other nine embassies we’ve built up under President Biden. These is not a lesson. The State Department is running the show. Tony Blinken has more testosterone than General Milley. I don’t understand what the hell is going on here.”

After Biden gave the green light for the withdrawal, on August 26, ISIS-K terrorists detonated a suicide bomb at the airport’s convent gate, ultimately killing 13 U.S. service members. Gen. Mark Milley and Gen. Kenneth “Frank” McKenzie testified before the committee, placing the blame for the withdrawal primarily on the State Department. according to Go to ABC News.
