A Long Island woman who was arrested several years ago for prostitution at a hot dog truck was arrested again this week for aggressively stalking a man at work by exposing her breasts and shouting anti-Semitic comments. It was done.
Katherine Scalia, 57, was arrested Tuesday by Nassau County police in East Rockaway and charged with three misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree stalking, according to a police report.
The mother of four said she would show up at the man’s workplace 10 to 15 times a day and harass him. She also repeatedly exposed her breasts while she was at work, the victim told police as recently as Monday.
“She also yelled anti-Semitic remarks at me,” the man wrote in the police report. “I’m not Jewish, but my employer is Jewish. I wasn’t offended by her anti-Semitic comments, but I fear for her job security.”
The police report does not say what exactly she said.
Scalia also showed up at her home several times and “caused a nuisance,” the complaint said. He said he had filed police reports against her many times in the past and had been telling her for the past eight months to leave her alone.
“I have repeatedly asked him not to come to work or my home because it is stressful and not good for his mental health,” the man said.
He said he knew Scalia from her work in East Rockaway and from her previous job as a UPS delivery driver, when he delivered packages to her home.
Scalia made headlines locally when she was caught prostitution at a roadside hot dog stand, earning her the nickname “Hot Dog Whore.”
In 2012, she was arrested in a sting operation after Baldwin residents complained that she was handing out business cards suggestive of Frank. Police said officers ordered two dogs and water before Scalia announced the “special.”
Mr. Scalia took the officer back to his camper and performed a striptease for him for $100, then offered to manually stimulate him for $50. She was put in her cuffs in her place.
“This is what I want to do,” she told the Post at the time. “Sell me some hot dogs and brag a little bit about what I got. If you got it, flaunt it, that’s what I say.”
Scalia was arrested in 2004 on suspicion of prostitution in the same camper, and police said he did not have a license to sell hot dogs. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to seven days in jail.
A year later, she was arrested again on prostitution charges after responding to a police officer’s call for a masseuse at an East Garden City motel, and even driving a hot dog truck to meet the police officer.
“Hey guys! They got me again!” she told reporters after her arrest yesterday.
In 2016, she was in the news again after she put up a sign in her front yard. She rides topless on a swing and gives a lap dance.
