South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, who is considered to be former President Donald Trump’s running mate in the 2024 Republican presidential election, is planning a wedding with his fiancée Mindy North in early August. .
The wedding comes during a relatively quiet period in the presidential campaign, after the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee (July 15-18) and ahead of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago (August 19-22).
