President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden congratulated the Duchess of Cambridge on Friday after she revealed her shocking cancer diagnosis.
“Jill and I join millions of people around the world in wishing Princess Kate a full recovery,” the Commander-in-Chief said. I wrote it to X.
The First Lady echoed this sentiment in her message to the Princess of Wales: “You are brave and we love you.”
Earlier Friday, Middleton revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy.
The 42-year-old royal learned of her diagnosis after undergoing “major abdominal surgery” at a London clinic in January.
The princess did not reveal what type of cancer she was battling, but insisted she was “doing well and getting stronger every day.”
The shocking announcement comes after weeks of speculation over Middleton’s whereabouts following reports of her surgery, but on Mother’s Day in the UK, she revealed a photoshopped version of herself. The speculation intensified after she posted a photo of her three children.
