Former President Trump on Tuesday promoted the “God Bless USA” Bible, which he is selling in partnership with country musician Lee Greenwood, ahead of Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
“The biggest thing this country is missing is religion and Christianity. And I truly believe that we need to bring them back, and we need to bring them back quickly,” President Trump said. Video shared to his Truth Social site. “I think this is one of the biggest problems we have. That’s why our country is in chaos. We’ve lost religion in our country.”
The former president said every American should have a Bible in their home and said he has many Bibles on hand.
“This is my favorite book,” he said, later adding. “We must bring Christianity back into our lives and make our nation great again.”
The $60 Bible is a King James version and includes the lyrics to Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA,” as well as the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence and Pledge of Allegiance.
President Trump praised the Founding Fathers for doing “a great thing in building America on Judeo-Christian values,” and said their foundation was under attack.
“I’m proud to support and encourage you to get this Bible. We have to get America praying again,” he said.
President Trump said Christians are “under siege” and that “content that supports God must be protected.”

Mr. Trump has partnered with Mr. Greenwood in the past. “God Bless the USA” has been the entrance music for President Trump’s rallies, and was occasionally played at the beginning of White House events during the Trump administration.
The Bible is the latest in a series of products that President Trump has sold before and after taking office. Earlier this year, he introduced a line of $400 sneakers.
Compared to other leading Republicans, the former president, who has been divorced twice and faces four separate criminal cases, speaks little about his religious beliefs. Still, Trump regularly wins support from religious Republicans.
