Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said Tuesday on Real America’s Voice:american sunrise” called for House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) to be removed from office.
Mr. Green said: “It’s simple math. The more Republicans like Mike Gallagher resign and step down early, what do you think it means? There are fewer Republicans in the House. So Mike -Every time a Gallagher or a Ken Buck leaves early, our numbers dwindle and we move dangerously close to becoming a minority.”
She went on to say, “I’m tired of the Speaker of the House telling an inconvenient truth and trying to make Republican voters realize that they’re done with doing all the crap like they did last week.” That’s not Marjorie Taylor Greene.”And the Republicans go on the campaign trail, make all these promises, and then turn around and stab voters in the back, until on Friday when Mike Johnson Because that’s what I did. And that’s what he guided us to do in our conference on Friday. I don’t blame Hakeem Jeffries for being Speaker of the House. I’m not going to blame the Democratic majority for taking over the Republican majority. It rests squarely on the shoulders of Republicans who are resigning early because they don’t have the guts to deal with the real fight and the responsibility that comes with the leadership that comes with the near destruction of our country and the end of our republic. When our Constitution is being shredded. ”
Green added: “So no one is going to blame me for that. David, I’m going to explain to you exactly what I’m going to do. I’m going to handle it with the utmost care and responsibility. You want to know who cares about our majority? I’m one of the few House Republicans who actually paid all my dues to the NRCC, and I did it because I wanted a majority, and the next Because I want a majority in Congress, and I’m going to fight for that. But I’m not going to do anything stupid about this eviction motion. We will bring it to a floor vote when the time is right to do so. But this is a pink slip. Mr. Johnson has been notified and we need a new Speaker of the House.”
