We’re allowing strangers to pump a drug right into kids’ vulnerable brains

newYou can now listen to Fox News articles.

Happy Tuesday everyone. Oh, it looks delicious. I can and may eat you all. Okay. The women of The View have now expressed regret over their treatment of Duchess Kate, saying they “fell down a rabbit hole”. An important question arises here. How on earth did they fit together? Rapper Sean Combs’ Los Angeles and Miami homes were raided by the Department of Homeland Security in connection with a sex trafficking investigation. In other news, Combs changes her name from Diddy to Didonto.

Jill Biden spent her Sunday morning in a SoulCycle spin class. In trying to reassure her girlfriend, some of the people on her bike fell over. A new study claims your facial features may have been influenced by what your mother ate during pregnancy. If that’s true, Nancy Pelosi’s mother ate a lot of Tupperware. A new poll finds that 73% of voters have no problem with the term “illegal immigrant.” The remaining 27% of voters were illegal immigrants. McDonald’s just announced plans to sell Krispy Kreme donuts. Yeah. In response, you’ll never know who took time off to celebrate.

It never ends. Okay, let’s do a monologue.

That’s why social media for children is prohibited in Florida. Gov. Ron DeSantis just signed a bill that makes it illegal for children under 14 to participate on social media platforms and requires parental permission for 14- and 15-year-olds. Existing social media accounts created by children under the age of 14 must be deleted by the company. Failure to do so can expose your company to expensive fines and lawsuits. strange. The measure has bipartisan support. Odd number. The last one to get bipartisan support was “Throw Jesse Watters into the boiling oil bill vat.” I also supported it.

But it’s refreshing that even some Democrats want to protect children, especially in Florida. In Florida, Democrats would rather please the alligators than admit that DeSantis is right. I’m glad I put a little black thing over his eye. We don’t want lawsuits from the reptile community. Oh, I’ll never forget that jawline. Of course, the state of Florida is anticipating a First Amendment challenge, but ironically, that challenge comes after asking women at Planet Fitness to wear jockstraps. It’s going to come from the same people who want to ban adults. But they are ready for it. This is Paul Renner, Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives.

paul renner: There is no provision in this bill that deals with good or bad speech. Because that would be a violation of the First Amendment. We haven’t touched on that at all. What we’ve covered is the addictive features that are central to why kids continue to visit these platforms for hours on end.

Yes, he’s talking about notification alerts and autoplay videos that make social media as addictive as my legendary back rub. secret? There are no hands. However, the content of the speech is not the issue. There is no discrimination based on viewpoint. The idea is that social media itself, not just the specific messages sent on social media, is harmful to children. Remember, DeSantis has already vetoed another version of this bill that would ban social media for under-16s. Why is this important? Good question. Well, young brains are different from adult brains. They’re mushy and shapeless, like Joe Biden’s dinner.

Lawmakers push to raise social media minimum age to 16: ‘It’s about time’

These brains don’t fully develop until your mid-to-late 20s. For me, it’s never mid to late. Growing brains cannot withstand the constant barrage of bullying, peer pressure, gender indoctrination, climate change, panic, and racial hysteria. They will have plenty of time for that. It’s time for them to go to college. So, does this law limit children’s freedom? yes. Does our society already limit children’s freedom? Yes. You must be 16 years or older to drive a car. 18 people to vote. You must be 21 years of age or older to legally drink beer. No matter how sexy it may seem, we don’t let our children smoke. But all of this is definitely less harmful than letting your child join TikTok or implanting TikTok in your child’s brain.

Remember how social media became popular? It was called Facebook. Why was it called Facebook? Mark Zuckerberg created it at Harvard University to judge the appearance of other classmates. This is interesting considering Zuckerberg seems like someone who would fall into the glue trap. So it started as something that made people feel like shit. Then you shouldn’t be surprised at how many people feel like shit because of it right now. But Facebook exploded largely because people wanted to see who got fat after high school. In the process, it has become a way to share information and news much faster than we ever imagined.

Zuckerberg-funded ‘Zackbucks 2.0’ group spends millions of dollars to influence local election offices, reports say

And adults gave children access without thinking twice about the long-term effects it would have on them. And bad content could be shared and absorbed faster than eating urinal cake in a Port Authority bathroom. We’ve seen stupid stunts, insane and delusional rants that tell us there are 72 genders, and creepy stunts that tell us that anorexia is cool, obesity is positive, and mutilation is rebellion against the patriarchy. And we’re talking about things that put lives at risk. Social media is the biggest medical experiment in history, allowing strangers to inject powerful toxic drugs into children’s vulnerable brains.

It’s not a fair fight for either parents or children. Being kids as they are is hard enough, especially when they’re too slow to pass my van. But social media has made it even more difficult, and developers are well aware that these apps can be distracting and destructive. In China, where TikTok was born, content is filtered, with children under 14 only allowed to watch videos about patriotism, science and education, with a daily limit of 40 minutes. Then get back to work, kid. These Nikes cannot be sewn by yourself.

But today, predators disguised as activists are trying to turn your child into something unrecognizable. So it’s not a crazy idea to stop it, right? If we want kids to be kids, it’s time for adults to act like adults. Instead of shrugging our shoulders, instead of burying our faces in our phones, we should look at their content instead of defending them.

So kudos to DeSantis for stepping on the brakes. After all, 14-year-olds in Florida shouldn’t be using TikTok. They should be in the police force. It’s currently streaming on Fox Nation.
