Jim Harbaugh Keeps Rules For Life On His Business Card, And You Have To Hear Them

Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh appears to be handing out business cards with rules for life written on them. ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared his copy with Pat McAfee and his staff on Tuesday. I’d like you to listen to it.

“You’re going to love this. He gave me his business card. It lasts. This is incredible,” Schefter told McAfee.

“This is his calling card,” Schefter said, sharing a list of 20 rules with McAfee and his staff. McAfee then read out the rules.

“Jim Harbaugh Rules to Follow,” McAfee read from the card.

Rule #1 is the most important rule and my favorite.

“Seek first the kingdom of God, and all else will be added to you.”

beautiful.

As Mr. McAfee pointed out, Rule 2 was passed down to Mr. Harbaugh from his father, Jack. “It attacks each day with a zeal unknown to mankind.”

3: “Can anyone do it better than you?” Of course, the answer is no one.

4: “Today is better than yesterday. Tomorrow is better than today.”

5 and 6 are two of my favorites. The fifth one is “Heroes don’t have holidays.”I Love This one. When I hear this quote, I think of one of my favorite quotes by Tom Brady. “If you want to be great, you have to carry that with you every day.”

6: “Your destiny is in your hands.”

Seven: “Think. Innovate. Find a solution. You will be known for your talent and hard work.”

8: “Choose good role models. Look at them, emulate them, and make them proud.” Great rule.

“A pleasant smile is a small price to pay for the goodwill and love of others.” is a 9.

10: “Please take care of yourself every day to maintain a healthy body throughout your life.”

Eleven: “Great efforts lead to great results.”

12: “Don’t try to win every fight in the first round.”

13: “What we do in life resonates in eternity.”

14: “Build long-lasting, trusting friendships by being willing to help the other person succeed.”

15: “The best customers are satisfied customers.”

16: “The only job you start at the top is digging.”

17 is the golden rule. “Treat others as you would like to be treated.” (Related: Former NFL GM’s insanely heated comments make us think he’s in cahoots with the new coach)

18 years old: “This is some advice. The basics of choosing a school. Academics, baseball, and the university environment.

19: “Three keys to happiness, in descending order.

3. Choose a job you love.

2. Beat your competitors.

1. Marry wisely.

20 is the cherry on top. “Are you considering a career change? Doing what’s best for your family, both personally and professionally, where you’re happy and productive, where you’re wanted and where your family likes what you do and how you do it.” Let’s make it. Follow the instructions. Keep going. It’s working.”

“God bless you and yours, Jim Harbaugh,” the reigning NCAA football national champions greeted.

You couldn’t love it more if you tried. The rules themselves are very picture perfect. Sorry Jordan Peterson, but the Harbaugh method is all you need to live a good life. But the fact that Harbaugh carries them around on his business card is just amazing.
