New York Attorney General Letitia James is under increasing pressure to prosecute comedian Jon Stewart after it was revealed he overvalued his Manhattan home. This is the same so-called “crime” that James is indicting former President Donald Trump for.
Representative Mike Collins (R-Ga.), radio host Andrew Wilkow, Trump lawyer Alina Haba and others are asking for “tissues” to show that no one is above the law.
Jon Stewart was recently found to have overvalued his Tribeca duplex by more than 800 percent when he sold it in 2014. The embarrassing revelation came after the comedian used Monday’s episode of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show to claim that Trump was “lying” in his assessment. his own property.
Mr Stewart is now in a predicament and pressure is mounting on Mr James to ensure equal application of the law.

Attorney Alina Haba urged Tish to pursue Stewart to the same standards as Trump.
