Two Florida police officers went above and beyond the call of duty after arresting a delivery driver who was caught on camera delivering groceries to a customer.
The encounter happened March 26 in Titusville, homeowner Joe Noy confirmed. The video he shared on social media went viral.
“Hello, uh, did you order some groceries?” a female police officer can be seen asking on the doorbell camera footage. FOX 35 Orlando. “Yes,” said the woman who answered the door.
“Your driver has been arrested and we are delivering groceries,” the officer replied.

Two Titusville police officers arrested a delivery driver wanted from Texas and Florida and completed a grocery delivery.
Afterwards, the female police officer was joined by a male police officer and they entered the house one after another.
“When I was growing up, my dad was a police officer, so I had the utmost respect for them, and when I saw that, I thought it was great,” Noy said.
Titusville Police arrested Richard Robertson, 40, who was wanted on felony charges in Texas and Florida, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by FOX 35. The suspect was stopped and arrested when a police officer spotted his vehicle.

Robertson’s total bail is listed at $26,000, according to online arrest records. The next court date is set for May 2nd.
“The Titusville Police Department has successfully arrested a wanted felon off city streets,” a statement to FOX 35 read. “However, we remain compassionate and grateful for our people and are pleased to have completed the delivery of paid groceries to our valued community members.”

It is unclear which distribution platform Robertson was working for at the time of his arrest. Titusville Police did not immediately respond to FOX News’ request for more information.
