New research identifies the best locations for Gen Z workers. These regions mainly have two characteristics. There are no people and it’s cold.
Report from Background check company Checkr We’ve found that many small population centers in the frigid regions of the Midwest and Great Lakes region are great for young adults ages 18 to 27.
Checkr looked at Gen Z’s unemployment rate, their rent-to-income ratio, the percentage of renters who spend less than 30% of their income on housing, and more.
In total, Fargo, North Dakota — Estimated population 131,444 people — was considered the perfect place for young people to start their dream job. The Minnesota-adjacent city was praised for its affordability and “entrepreneurial spirit,” among other top employment factors.
