Rep Anna Paulina Luna Slams Biden Admin, Says Hispanic Voters Are Leaving Dems ‘In Droves’

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Florida, criticized the Biden administration for trying to win back Hispanic voters on Fox News Monday, saying they are leaving the Democratic Party “in droves.”

Luna appeared on “The Ingraham Angle,” where host Laura Ingraham asked why the White House’s social media pages had Spanish translations of the administration’s posts about International Transgender Day of Visibility. I asked Luna if she thought it was omitted. (Related: CNN data analyst says Hispanic voters ‘overwhelmingly trust’ Trump on border security and immigration)

“No, that’s not true. In fact, that was intentional,” Luna said. “This administration is intent on winning back the Hispanic voting bloc, and I want to remind you, Laura, that Hispanic Americans, especially Mexican Americans, currently have the largest voting power in this country. I’m in the minority. This whole issue of Trans Awareness Day over Easter doesn’t bode well, especially for the community that I proudly represent, which is primarily a predominantly Catholic and Christian community. When they do this, it’s on purpose. Laura, they’re losing a ton of Hispanic American votes. So I’m happy because I’m sure Mr. Trump will win in November. ”

Luna went on to say that this is not the “first time” the administration has “disrespected” Hispanic Americans, and first lady Jill Biden said Hispanics are as “unique” as tacos. It reminded me of when we did that and when Joe Biden was president. played Spanish-language hit song “Despacito” being spoken at an event during Hispanic Heritage Month.

“This isn’t the first time. Remember, Jill Biden called us breakfast tacos. President Biden was playing ‘Despacito’ during the campaign, right?” So this is not the first time this administration and this president has really disrespected Hispanic Americans. But again, the top three issues are inflation, jobs, the economy, and the fact is that when voters are faced with this issue in November, they’re going to focus on the message of the Republican Party and President Trump versus this administration. It will be. ” Luna said.

“Frankly, they are, and by them I mean this administration, working with Big Tech to censor messages to Hispanic Americans,” she continued. “Remember, just a few months ago, they actually bought most of the conservative media and radio in Spain to promote this and influence this election.”

In 2022, Republican lawmakers tried to block the purchase of 18 Spanish-language radio stations for about $60 million by the Soros-funded Latino Media Network, a news company run by former Democratic officials. They failed and then the purchase was completed.

Opinion polls show that former President Donald Trump is gaining support among key Democratic voters, including Hispanic voters.in Recent A New York Times/Siena College poll showed Trump leading Biden by 6 points among Hispanic voters, with 46% of the vote. The poll’s margin of error is 10 percentage points because the sample size is “not large enough to reliably assess small differences,” but other polls show that Hispanic support is tilting toward the former president heading into 2024. It is also shown that there are.
