Game of Thrones star Hannah Waddingham says she now suffers from chronic claustrophobia after being waterboarded for 10 hours while filming.

“I talked about it with David Benioff and Dan Weiss, the two executive producers of the film, and I was like, ‘Good for them, because it was terrible,'” she said. .

Waddingham plays Septa Unella on the hit HBO series and said the show’s acclaimed cinematography involved incredible sacrifices from the actors involved.
“When the elevator door opened, one of the other guys who was filming something else said, ‘What’s going on?'” I told him everything, and he said, , ‘You’re lucky I only spent four days crawling on my elbows in poop’…but that doesn’t matter on Thrones,” she said.
