NY mom crushed by tree during vicious rainstorm ID’d as Catherine Tusiani, wife of Yankees’ exec: sources

A Westchester County woman who tragically died after being crushed by a tree during Wednesday night’s intense rainstorm has been identified as the wife of a Yankees executive.

Law enforcement officials said Katherine Tusiani, 50, was driving north on Route 128 in Armonk when her car struck a tree and died.

North Castle police previously said she was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Tusciani’s husband, Michael J. Tusciani, is the New York Yankees’ senior vice president of partnerships. According to the team’s website.

The couple also have at least one daughter, who is studying public relations at Boston University, according to her LinkedIn profile.
