Former President Donald Trump is within single digits of President Joe Biden in blue New Jersey, according to the latest Emerson College Poll/PIX11/The Hill poll.
The survey asked respondents, “If Joe Biden and Donald Trump faced off in the 2024 presidential election, who would you vote for right now?”
Just under a majority, 46%, said they would vote for Biden, followed by 39% who said they would support Trump. As a result, Biden now has a single-digit lead in New Jersey, with a difference of 7 percentage points. Additionally, he left 15% undecided.
With the addition of third-party candidates, Biden’s lead narrows further. In this scenario, 41% would support Biden, followed by 36% for Trump, a 5-point difference. Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. came in third with 8% support, followed by Cornel West with 1% and Jill Stein with 1%. Additionally, he remains 14% undecided.
