Comedian and film director W. Kamau Bell recently argued that Americans don’t understand the problems we face if they think one president can make a difference, arguing that the comedian is doing everything out of fear. The teaser added that we’re “in trouble” if we can’t be cancelled.
Appeared on a recent show last laugh In the podcast, Bell spoke about Joe Biden’s age, the upcoming 2024 election and the issues facing the United States, according to the paper. daily beast.
Mr Bell claimed he was shocked to see TV’s Jon Stewart attacked for making fun of Joe Biden’s age. His response was, “Damn it, dude. Can’t you even call an old man an old man?”
“If a democracy is so delicate that comedians can’t make fun of it, then we have a problem,” Bell added. “I don’t expect Jon Stewart to save me.”
Bell went on to argue that it doesn’t matter which candidate wins the 2024 election.
“Whoever the next president is, this country could be a mess,” he said of the race for the White House. “If we act as if the entire future of the country depends on who becomes president, we have misunderstood the issue. We have misunderstood America.”
But Bell pointed out that his cynicism was not aimed at discouraging people from voting.
“So I’m not saying don’t vote,” he said. “What I’m saying is, absolutely vote, vote, register to vote, check your voter registration. But act like a vote for president will save America. Please stop doing that.”
Bell seems to have some problems with his own “understanding of America.” For example, in 2017, far-left media personalities argued that Islam was somehow “part of the founding of the United States” due to the fact that some of the black slaves imported into the United States during colonial times came from Muslim regions of Africa. He claimed that. That means Islam was present in early America.
Mr. Bell is also a persistent racist, arguing that white people should not have a say in what is racist or not.
And in 2022, he used Father’s Day celebrations to urge American fathers to support aborting their children, calling it a “human right.”
