Drake Bell has revealed that he has forgiven Rider Strong for supporting the Nickelodeon star’s convicted abuser Brian Peck in the past.
After being convicted of child sexual abuse in 2004, Peck was sentenced to 16 months in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender. Bell, now 37, announced last month that she was the victim of the incident.
Last month, Bell criticized Strong, 44, as one of the actors who wrote a letter of support to Peck during the former acting and conversation coach’s trial. However, “The Amanda Show” alum shared an update on her relationship with Strong on Friday.
“I just had the most amazing conversation with @RiderStrong. We are all healing together. I have nothing but love and forgiveness for him,” Bell wrote on X (formerly Twitter) .

Bell broke her silence in the Investigation Discovery documentary series “Quiet on the Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” which premiered last month.

The docuseries shares unsealed court documents from Peck’s trial, which includes interviews with Strong and Boy Meets World co-star Will Friedle, as well as James Marsden and Taran. It included letters from actors such as Killam and the late Alan Thicke in support of the convicted sex offender.
Alex Nicholas is a fellow Nickelodeon child star and has appeared in documentaries. Shared a post on Instagram Slamming Strong and Friedl, Bell responded to a fan’s comment by implying that they too were victims of peck.

“Ryder was 24 when he wrote the letter and Brian told him what he had done. He wrote the letter anyway,” Bell wrote in a series of comments that have since been deleted.

In another reply, Bell said: “Will was 27 years old and Brian told him what he had done. A lot of people turned away and said they wouldn’t write a letter, but they did. “Ta” he wrote. “Will wasn’t being manipulated. Brian recognized that and wrote the letter anyway.”
“And he [Friedle] worked with me on many episodes of [‘Ultimate Spider-Man’] “Years have passed and nothing has been said to me about it,” Bell continued. “Because we were told the letter would be made public. Everyone thought this letter would be sealed forever and no one would ever see it. This was their publicist’s way of getting ahead of the story. He is teaching me.”

“I was an adult and there was no way I could be manipulated like this,” Friedl said. “When I heard what happened, I knew this guy for years and of course I had no idea this was happening. And at the time I… I had no idea that I was 24 or 25, 24 or whatever.” I found out, I didn’t know, I couldn’t find out, it was my own failure. ”
Strong remembered that Peck admitted to the crime but carried out the assault as if Peck were the victim.

“It’s always, ‘I did this, I’m guilty. I’m going to take whatever punishment the government decides, but I’m a victim of prison bait. There was this hot guy. I just did this.’ It was in the context of this,” and he is a minor. And we bought that storyline,” Strong said.

Peck was charged with child sexual abuse in 2003 and later charged with eight counts of sexual abuse.
Bell was nicknamed “John Doe” throughout the investigation and trial. Peck was convicted of indecency with a child and oral copulation of a person under 16 years of age.
