After four more victims came forward, Alyssa Ann Zinger, 23, was arrested a second time and charged with additional sex crimes.
She was first taken into custody in November on suspicion of having at least 30 sexual acts with a middle school student between the ages of 12 and 15 and sending explicit videos to several other students, according to an arrest report.
The accused predator allegedly created a false online persona and primarily used Snapchat to communicate with minors posing as 14-year-old homeschool students attending Wilson Middle School in Tampa’s Hyde Park neighborhood. has been done.
After her initial arrest, she was charged with two counts of indecent or lascivious assault and five counts of indecent or lascivious sexual abuse.
Authorities on Thursday added charges of lewd or lascivious sexual abuse (victim was 12 to 15 years old), lewd or lascivious assault, possession of child pornography, intrastate transmission of child pornography by electronic device, and sexual cyber harassment. .
According to arrest documents, one of the victims told police that after several sexual encounters, Zinger sent her explicit photos and videos. Another woman said she sent a Snapchat video of multiple children engaging in sex acts. She also admitted to having sex with other teens as victims.
In July, Zinger and one of the victims were arrested for shoplifting at Nordstrom. She tried to keep up her front and told police she was born in 2009, but police were unable to confirm this.
The document said officers found information about Alyssa Zinger, who was born in 2001. However, when Ms. Zinger interrogated her, she told a desperate lie, claiming that she had a half-sister with the same name.
Police discovered she was lying by checking her work and school records and contacting her employer at Tampa Publix, who verified she was an adult.
Three months after Zinger’s alleged crime, the victim came forward.
